My kiddos love going to out to the Desert. This lovely home made them feel like it was their own. It has everything there’s really no need to leave and if you do it’s really close the downtown (great restaurants, grocery stores, etc). We fell in love with the vibe! Thank you for having us! Nice and quiet neighborhood close to trails. The communication with vacasa was easy and prompt. November was too cold to enjoy the pool. House has old world charm, kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We absolutely loved our stay! We were in town for a friend’s wedding a short 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed our morning coffee by the pool and spent Saturday afternoon in town at a local restaurant and walking around. The house was perfect for the 4 of us, and I fell in love with all of the beautiful tiles and plants in the backyard! Would definitely recommend this home, and would absolutely stay again. We really enjoyed the property and our visit. I have 4 stars on instructions because some of the entry instructions were unclear and the WiFi wasn’t working due to the provided password in the instructions being wrong. But someone came by the house immediately when I reported the wi-fi not working and they determined the issue with password. All in all a great location. And would rent again

We stayed in this house during spring break with our 2 college age kids. It worked great. We cooked multiple meals and the kitchen was very well stocked. Also, nice pool area and grill.

This was our second time staying at Casa Chillon. It was just as we’d remembered from two years before. Last time was midwinter, this time peak summer heat. The pool was perfect, the house cool and comfortable at day and night, and the neighbourhood very quiet. Great place for star watching, and good food and shopping options back toward Indio and Palm Desert. Great walking trails in cooler weather. We will be back again.

The house is easy to live in. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We loved that the pool was private and the neighborhood was NOT in a golf course setting. The neighborhood was sweet, quiet and complete with great Santa Rosa mountain views and some trails not too far away. The landscaping was amazing. If you go, be sure and check out the La Quinta Museum. It was quite good. Also, we bought drinking water as the tap water was highly chlorinated. Vacasa is quite rigid about check in and check out times. You can check in by phone as the Vacasa Palm Springs office is abut 40 minutes away. The check in person from Vacasa was absolutely delightful, so much more human than the email communications! Overall - recommend. this house.

Our stay at Vacasa was wonderful! The kitchen was fully stocked, the house was very clean, and every little detail of the house had so much character! The only strange feature was that there was no wall between the master bedroom and its bathroom. No privacy what so ever! Besides that we had a great time but do recommend bringing a hat or an umbrella to use in the pool as there is no shade! We can't wait to come back and visit!

Lovely quiet & private home in charming La Quinta! We had a great weekend stay there. Rooms were comfortable with nice bathrooms, and the kitchen was well equiped for easy meal prep or more elaborate cooking. The outdoor pool was a perfect treat after a day full of activities. Loved the neighborhood with its easy walkable access to nature trails. We hope to come back soon :)

Great place except during our visit the weather was not the greatest as it was windy and made the pool feel colder. The house felt cozy and had plenty of towels which is great. The neighborhood was always quiet. House had everything from detergent and dryer sheets to kitchen utensils. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We didn't enjoy the pool at much because it's not heated but on a typical hot day it's great. Even got a good dark chocolate bar and card very nice touch.

House looked even better than the photos. We loved the old villa style aesthetic and the house came with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We made our trip with a plan to spend most of it in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. It's about 40 min to Palm Springs and about 1:20 min to Joshua Tree. Kinda a long drive but the houses amenities really made up for it. Everything was so clean and orderly on arrival. We can't wait to go back.

This is a nice quaint Spanish style home perfect for a family or two. Very cozy and nicely designed. The host responds very quick and checking in and out was a breeze. The property was very clean and they supply you with almost everything you need and more than enough towels, pillows and linens. They also provide spa like toiletries like shampoos and conditioners which is a plus. All electronics and TVs are brand new with cable. The Centralize AC will keep you cool with no problem at all. My only suggestion is for the host to invest on a new mattress for the sofa bed and also some nice non stick pans that works. All in all we highly recommend this place and would definitely book it again. Thank you for everything!

The house was very cute and great for fun pictures with friends. The pool was not able to be heated since we did not stay for 3 days, but the weather was so hot that it really didn’t matter and we swam anyways. So don’t let that be a turn off that the pool is not heated. There is a Starbucks about 6 minutes away, and it’s about 10 minutes away from a Trader Joe’s. I’d love to come back and visit again!

Love this place. Super cute. Enjoyable back yard with pool and seating area. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Only problems. Check in. Was incredibly unclear. Vrbo needs to change that for certain. Emails were super confusing do you check in in another location or do you check in online the emails I need to be reread and re-done so the people understand exactly what’s expected While the place is perfectly clean and comfortable and wonderful a few things Need to be addressed. One they need to let you know when the gardener and the pool guy are coming so that you’re not surprised. I asked Verbo did let me know about that and they said they called me back and they never did so I just had to wait for them to come to know when their schedule was. Some of the kitchen Tools need to be updated especially the knives. It was nice that they had spices and olive oil and a few other things to get you started so that was nice. Would Definitely stay here again

My small group wanted a safe, clean getaway from Los Angeles during the pandemic, and this house was perfect. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the check in process was contactless and easy. We were able to get groceries delivered from the nearby sprouts, and we were able to order amazing pizza from Enzo's. We were not bothered by the 100 degree heat because the pool was PERFECT. It was a lovely little getaway. Would highly recommend this place for a pandemic escape, but I have no idea how far it is from attractions in normal times since we just hid in our little walled fortress the whole time.

We booked this last second when the air from the fires forced us indoors for days. The air quality in La Quinta was better and this house suited our family perfectly. Loved that there was a pool. I appreciate that the hosts take COVID cleaning precautions. That's definitely a deciding factor for us when choosing a vacation rental these days.

What a great and cozy house to stay in if you’re ever in the area! Communication - Response was a bit slower than normal as mentioned by a previous reviewer but someone did get back eventually. After the check-in time someone was thoughtful enough to check on us to make sure we were able to get in the house okay. Safety - My husband and I were traveling with our toddler and we felt very safe. Area was nice and quiet. Cleanliness - The place was very clean and exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the extra amenities that came with the house. The pool was clean; no bugs. It just had some small leaves in it since it was breezy but you can always scoop them out which is not a big deal. Overall we enjoyed our quick stay here and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Overall, we loved our stay at this cute Spanish style home. The house was just as described and the pool was the main attraction. Check-in was through key code and easy peasy. I did get a little concerned during the week as my family and I were sunbathing and a gardner and pool guy walked in unannounced. They obviously had the good too, which gave me some concern. It could have been a different code, but I don't know for sure. My biggest issue with this experience was the communication by the property manager. I was given the name Parrish to contact and when I reached out to him a few days before and left multiple messages, he never responded. Being that this was my first trip since quarantining with my family, I was reconsidering whether we should still go. When I arrived, a different manager, Todd, sent me a message with the check in information. Thankfully, we didn't need anything during our stay, as you're pretty much on your own. Even after my stay, I reached out to the property manager to inquire about lost keys and still no response whatsoever. Aside from the poor communication, the actual stay at the property was fantastic.

Everything about our stay was very nice customer service wise they were pretty slow I messaged the host about three times before I even stayed at the property and they never once answered me until I checked out which I think is not right , The first day we were there the pool guy came to clean which I felt was interrupting my stay which I think the pool should’ve been clean before I even got there, caught me off guard just to see a random man walk through, for the price that I paid that should’ve been done ahead of time. besides that everything else was clean ,

The private pool was a wonderful little extra but provided us with much needed relaxation. We even had access to the garage to park our rental car. Can't get much better than this.

When we arrived the house was really clean and cold, which was very nice after being in 100 + degree weather outside. Everything was well organized and put together very nicely. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Me and my girlfriend loved the pool! It was just the right temperature each time we got in and was just the right depth. There were things here and there that made this place extra unique, like the tiled sink in the bedroom bathroom, the antique oven (or at least that's what I think it was), the tiled shower. One thing to remember is that YOU MUST CHECK IN AT AN OFFICE RIGHT OFF THE FREEWAY!!!! Don't forget or else you'll be stuck doing a 40 minute round trip going back to the office. Overall, great place to spend a couple days away from the city and just relax all day in the pool.

My husband was going golfing with his buddies all weekend so this place was perfect for families! My son and I were able to enjoy the pool which was shaded most of the Day morning/ evening with the hottest part of the day with an inside break! The kitchen has everything you need. Loved it, will definitely recommend this property at Casa Chillon to small families, and probably stay again if we go back and the place is available!

We stayed here for two nights as a family getaway. It’s the perfect place to relax and rest, the pool is very nice and clean, we enjoyed it very much. The kitchen in very spacious and equipped, perfect for our family meals. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are grocery stores, shops and restaurants nearby, so everything you need is no more than a 10 minute drive away! Will definitely stay here again!

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Casa Chillon. Check in was easy and communication was great with all parties. We stayed 3 nights with an option of late check out at 7pm which they offered at a ridiculous low rate-we definitely took advantage of that! We loved the set up of the open wide living space. Central air worked great, the home is cozy with all the amenities you need. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The lounge chairs that were provided were also super comfy! We used the propane grill for bbqing as well as the stove for other meals. The wifi and smart tv worked great for late night r&r. My favorite thing was the mountain view from the breakfast table-amazing! Nothing negative to say about this place. Hope your stay here is as enjoyable as ours!

This house was wonderful. Upon check in we were greeted by white wine, a deck of cards and some jam! Great touch! The house was very clean and well maintained. We especially appreciated all the little touches and extras: soap and shampoo/conditioner, extra blankets, towels and pillows on hand, a stocked spice cabinet, tupperware, etc. it made for a stress free experience a d made packing lunch for our day trips that much easier. The pool at this property is 99 percent in shade after 4 or 5, which was PERFECT for the 116 degree days while we were there. The location was perfect for our excursions to Joshua Tree and the Salton Sea! All in all, a great host, house, and experience.

Casa Chillon is a beautiful, tranquil space. lovely Spanish decor, comfortable furniture, very clean. the pool was relaxing and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. we would come back here again!

My family enjoyed our stay and it was nice knowing i had someone available to me 24/7. The Spanish home was wonderfully decorated and there were plenty of great things for us to use. We enjoyed the pool a lot. My kids loved it. Love that there were steps my little girl could sit on. We cooked at home and used the grill. You can't get better than that. We didn't want to leave the home. It gave us exactly what we were looking for a couple days..

Very spacious 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. The pool outside is amazingly fresh when the days are getting hot you just want to relax at the pool. We cooked almost every night we were there. The oven and utensils at this place are top notch for cooking. Hope to stay again someday.
